Help with Alpine HU
Help with Alpine HU
Hi, I have a older Alpine CDM-7835, and I cannot play burned CD's with it. Is there a certain speed to burn at or something I should do when I burn them? I currently do not have the money to get a new HU, so buying a new one is not a option. It will play regular CD's, but as soon as I pop a burned one in, nothing. Please help!
I would venture that is a resounding no...unless it is just burned cds
As in the music is not MP3 based. Just a copy of a cd might work for you. Check out the cd media...is it CD-R or CD-RW? That will make a huge difference.
That model can play cd-r's, but cannot play cd-rw. I am sure it was made back in '00 like you said. Check the media that you burned your music on. I would be willing to bet it is either CD-RW or MP3 encoded music

^No question about it. I had one of those and sold it for the Panasonic for just that reason. Stick with CD-R and you'll be fine, it won't do WMA either.OnYrMrk wrote:I would venture that is a resounding no...unless it is just burned cds

Back when I had mine I'm pretty sure that my cd burner was only a 4x, but I'm not positive of that.
