umm what?
see: http://www.glasswolf.net/charger/
car sits on 15" wheels with 60 series tires, and runs low tens in the quarter at over 140MPH. Who told you that you need oversize blingy rims and 30 series tires to go fast?
Big rims are etrimental to performance. They weigh more, they cost more, and they decrease ride quality by adversely affecting the sidewall's ability to function as a part of the car's suspension, and the tire's ability to "squat" under full weight transfer. The ONLY reason people should ever go to larger wheels is to clear a bigger brake rotor, and even then a larger rotor only helps in giving more surface to dissipate heat. Better pads are the best improvement to brakes, followed by 4 piston calipers for better clamping force.
On top of that, the only reason you then go to a lower profile tire, is to keep the same wheel and tire combination overall diameter, so your speedometer and odometer stay accurate, and wheel gap doesn't look silly., or so the tires don't rub on the inner fenders.
going to twenties is pure riced bling factor, and absolutely NOTHING to do with performance, sir.
just so you know.
