Chris from Washington just introduced me to this board, just stopping buy. I will be post many questions in the near future. But one I have now is, has anyone have/heard of CD ejection problems on the Alpine CDA-7894? My CD just bearly comes out, not even enough to grab it.
Oh, here's a pic of my ride

nice Camaro, welcome to the board... And welcome to a new Platty as well... I have had the same problems on my older Pioneer Deck occasionally but only in colder weather... Is your Alpine relatively new?

Always liked those, the newer ones are ugly :-X (*puts on flak jacket*)
Feel free to ask questions, even if it's something simple, we've heard it all (well, most of it :) ) and welcome to CAC.

Welcome to Plattyville and CAC!!! I had the Pontiac Equivalent of that car back in the mid 80's. Actually I graduated in '85 and got an '85 T/A and loved it! One of the best cars I have ever owned. You have a gem there and by the looks of it, it has been well cared for. I still wish I hadn't sold my T/A...it would make one hell of a drag car now.

don't know about the Alpine question other than a possible eject motor going out.

Welcome to the board, as far as the ejection problem I haven't heard anything about the Alpines having a problem. I have experienced problems with a couple of my pioneers in the cold, like CP said.
Does it seem to get worse when it gets cold or just happens all the time?
