This is for those who don't seem to already know. I give it a thumbs up. :thumbsup

It is much safer to drive in places where people follow this.

I agree with the website we definitely need an re-education in proper lane useage. But as it is when you are on a 4 lane highway how often are you pulled over for passing on the right, which I believe is illegal in most all states. Now this is second hand knowledge but I believe the reason the Autobahn isn't as deadly as it would be here in the states is that their are extremely strict rules that are strictly enforced. I believe there is no cell phones, eating, and anything else while driving. In fact I even heard that there used to be no radios in Mercedes and other cars in Germany. In America everyone is in a huge hurry and will talk to their wives, eat lunch, do their work project, and change the baby's diaper while they are supposed to be driving. They should be pulled over and charged with Driving Under the Influence because everthing people will do while driving will definitely influence their driving.

BTW I love your sig about the guns and Rosey O'Donnel

I agree also. There are sections of the Autobahn that are speed limited (also weather permitting speed limits) and these are strictly enforced. When I was in Germany, we were with a guy who lost his license because he was speeding.

You'd be suprized at how many people don't even want to be curtious.
I was talking with a woman the other day that actually told me that she only does 45mph on the freeway in the left lane (supposedly so people can use the on ramp easier) and if a car flashes her (as into say "could you allow me to pass").... she actually slows down just to irritate them. I told her that she is now considered to be impeding traffic and she could get ticketed for that.
Apparently she did not know that and is now slightly rethinking her choices.

Well I hate tailgaters!! I speed most of the time, so when they tailgate me I get a little aggravated.. but I digress from the subject. I would love it if the installed this as a law in my state!

The unposted minimum speedlimit in ohio is 10 MPH under whats posted.

So if shes doing 45 in a 60 shes breaking the law and can be cited. Besides that shes making the highway super dangerous...

I remember a few years back hearing that in Montana I believe it was, the speed limit was abolished except for in towns. Does anyone know anything about that?

I think thats the state with a judgement speedlimit. If a cop or such sees you driving wreckless you can still be cited.
