new job rocks.......... thus far anyways!

So I started my new job yesterday... I LIKE IT!!!!!!

12.5 hour shifts, but they go by pretty fast...

I got off around 6:30am, went to walmart to get a few things, then went over to my cousins house to make a few adjust on his amps...

Finally got to bed at 9:30ish... Woke up at 10:30-11:30-12:30 and for good at around 1:15pm... I cant sleep...

But yeah, after tonight I get 2 days off.... :happy055:

Thats great to hear you enjoy your job. Yeah, sleeping during the day is hard. I had a graveyard shift once, seriosly took its toll on me. I think had my job been more productive it may not have been as bad.

my favrite shift was second work from 4-12:30 could sleep in and got off work intime to hang with all your homeboys.

Yeah, its going to take some getting used too... I should of took some sleeping pills when I got home, usually if I take a couple Im good for around 10 hours of non stop sleep....

After a week or two I should be pretty used to it, here I can only do a total of 3-4 different jobs, but usually I should be doing the same thing every night... Thats the probably with the last job, they moved you around 10 times a night so you couldnt ever learn anything...

Right now the cans come down the line and I put the caps on them, sometimes it gets a little hard when they start up both lines and my helper buddy isnt where shes surpose to be (i.e helping me) so I have to keep up with all the cans until she comes...

But I just do the best I can, if I miss a few cans oh well, nothing to stress about.... Supervisor told me I was doing a good job so... :happy055:
