Not to overstep Geo, but when I'd asked him for a ballpark on the Statement 15" some time ago, it was speculated to be below the $400 mark. So even if it gets bumped up a little, it's still in the "old RE XXX" range or better.

I still want that fifteen, so when I get the car back together, I can throw it in, and see how the Statement likes a 2250SX
Sub better come in dual 2 ohm :)

I would bet they will want a small sealed or small ported. But sound great in either!

Funny you mention that...

I very well may have some subs that represent an 'early release' - that we may wish to distribute to real enthusiasts that we know, perhaps people to represent us- we might distribute these at a discount.

The Response sub, there's a magnet sticker that has some info on the sub, it looks pretty nifty - but it may be delayed, meaning that I'll have subs on hand that I can't really sell... not that it impacts performance at all, but I could offer a "naked" Response sub maybe for a bit of a discount - we'll see what the final arrivals time out like.

Also, the Statement sub may initially be released with a different motor plating than we had desired - again, just a cosmetic thing, the sub is technically otherwise exactly the same. But I'm picky - with the copper coils, copper shorting ring, and my wish to have this sub look at least a touch more upscale without crossing the "bling bling" line (sorry, homeboys :D ), we really wanted the entire motor to have a copper plating. That might not happen for the first small release of subs - maybe 20 or 25 12" subs. We'll see. ]Any rough ideas on pricing?[/QUOTE]
Yep, the Response will start about $200 - that's our "entry level" sub.
It's easy to build a less expensive sub, but at that price, it's very hard to build one with this quality and (or even "or" :p ) performance - particularly one that's truly built in the USA, including certain components outsourced to 'best of the best' specialists. It's "entry level" that I can stand behind. ;)

The Statement will start at about $325-$350 depending on how much of an impact this whole "rising cost of copper" garbage settles out at. . Of course, it also weighs at least 50 pounds now, so shipping becomes a factor in cost too (we might have to play the whole "shipping is included" game since everyone else is - I don't know) :p
