I was not shure where to put this question so i thought hey it is a question about a amp so this seemed the best place to put it. All right here is my problem i have a 2003 chevy single cab 1500 and i am putting 4 10s behind the seat. i have no room for the two amps back there without burning up the backs of the seats also the amps wont fit under the seats either without toasting the bottoms. so my second thought was to build a amp rack to hold the two amps right above each other and mount them right on top of the trasmission tunnel and build a fiberglass cover to cover them up to protect the person in the third seat from getting burned and the amps from getting kicked also mount fans on the sides for cooling. then i also though i have alot of room under the hood and i could mount the two amps under the hood and put them in a clear sealed box to protect from water damage and then use something like a water cooling system from a computer to keep the amps cool. then my final thought was to ask all the good people here if anybody else has had this problem or type of setup and where did you decide to mount your amp-amps. thanks for any help in advance.

Wow...I say if you can do that, Make it water tight, AC cooled....that you are one hella-of-man. I save skip that trouble and mount them like you said above the trans tunnel. Flip them around and show off the insides of the amps. That would be a nice lookin setup.then i also though i have alot of room under the hood and i could mount the two amps under the hood and put them in a clear sealed box to protect from water damage and then use something like a water cooling system from a computer to keep the amps cool
