Lusten to Josh Freese sometime. He is the most saught after studio drummer in existance.

He has an album called "The Nutorious One Man Orgy", which is a really fitting title, because he sings, plays guitar, bass, and drums on every song. Truely a talented man. Fastest drummer I have ever heard, too. Drums for APC, The Vandals, GNR when they reunited, and a few others.

Vinnie Paul has always been my favorite, Pantera for those who didn't know :p I've have been planning on getting APC's new cd, just haven't yet. Is it a whole lot like tool, or different?

I've loved TOOL since Undertow too; they are an amazing band. I saw them in concert about 3 years ago when I lived in Colorado Springs. It was no where near $80, I think around $40, but the two opening bands sucked (can't even remember who they were). They put on a very awesome show to say the least. They had a drum performance in the middle of the concert that went on for every bit of a 1/2 hour and it was really sweet. I used to play drums so I was in heaven.

Maynard performed the entire concert with his back to the crowd and was wearing nothing but his underwear. During Lateralus he started spinning around on a rotating part in the floor and it was a cool effect. They had video screens everywhere with some strange images (imagine that) :) I would definitely go again, that is for sure.
