Just got tickets to the TOOL concert!

Post by Worst Nightmare »

At the At&T center in San Antonio on Sept. 12. Section 20, row 8, right above the floor sections.

I'm totally stoked. Will be counting down the days to this one :thumbsup

Ticktes for my show went on sale yesterday at 10 am. I got row 10 on the floor. $80 for a ticket, better be damn worth it lol. I hear TOOL puts on an amazing show, worth every penny. I've been a fan since Undertow, so I'm one of thefew OGT's around now-a-days.

I saw them at Lollapalooza many years ago. Totally awesome. Believe me, from what I've heard other folks say that have been to some of their other indoor events, this is going to be one of the best ever.

I haven't been to a REAL concert in years (besides SXSW and other outdoor events in the Austin, TX area) and I HAD TO HAVE tickets to this one.

Well playing your own show and playing something like Lolla is two totally different things. You usually put more time and money into your own show. I go to concerts all of the time, usually one a month. September is shaping up to be a good month. So far TOOL and Rancid.

TOOL came around a few months back and tickets sold out in just a few minutes, without me getting one. So I had to get one to this show. Your show is 10 days before mine, let me know how it is!

I've never been to a TOOL show, but I saw A Perfect Circle a long time ago when they had just come out with their first CD. It was pretty awesome, I can tell you that!

I didn't think Maynard had a dry sense of humor, but between songs: "Don't forget to go out and buy our cd, and if you can't remember if you've bought it, just buy it again to make sure"

Justin - I'll definitely let you know how it is. I can't WAIT for this show. I'm going to have to check out some of Perfect Circle's material in the meantime.

Maynard is awesome.

I have the three APC CD's, but I don't like them nearly as much as TOOL. In fact, I only bought them because the absolute best drummer in the world drums for APC, Josh Freese. He literally is the best drummer in the world.

I dunno, Neil Peart was PRETTY darn good. Is he still alive? :)
