What do u guys think... Its really down to these 2 amps right now...

Autotek mm1000.1 and Hifonics Zeus Zxi 1006... Yea i know Autotek hands down right? Thats what i was thinking...

Here are the pro's of the Autotek

Stable 1 ohm
Draws 100 amps of current
Class D
Better Quality amp

Cons are

Its about $50 - $75 more (on EGAY)

Now the pros of the Hifonics are:
1000 x 1 at 4 ohm
Class A/B so technically cleaner power and less distortion so the theory says
Less money.

Ok Cons...
Draws 20 more amps than the Autotek (Due to the Class design)
Less Quality amp than the Autotek.

So what do u think... and yes i brought up the Draw because i think my alt is a 170amp THINK it is is the key part of that sentence... What do u guys think? Also another suggestion for an amp is always good thanks!

What does the hifonics do at 2 ohm, 1ohm? They are both mono amps right? Is this for you, or a friend. If it's for you buy the amp that will best suit your subs need.

Through Ebay its either $250 for the Hifonics and $300 for the Autotek... Basically the only differences I am seeing is Draw, Ohm load, and Manufacturer... I dont know the THD for both though :/

Bill do u know the THD for the Autotek mm1000 and the Hifonics Zeus 1000watt 2 ch? That is the only thing im looking for besides Draw... I just dont want my cars Headlights dimming with the A/B amp

I have a question.... why wouldnt you get a Bxi1206d instead of the Zeus?? You get a class D amp so you can save on power draw. If you dont want to run the extra 200watts, just use a DMM to set it to where you want it.
