Laptops

Post by veggie-man »

Alright I’m about to go shopping around for some laptops for college and I was wondering what to look for… not only the brand but the processor or whatnot(I’m not to computer savvy).... obviously i would want something cheap and would last a few years....

Also I was wondering if there was a way to watch TV through your laptop screen?

thanks!

The new Macbook, the way to go. Don't have to worry about viruses, if you're used to Windows, you can run Windows.

If you plan on playing games, forget the mac. I don't buy mac's just because they are so expensive. ..well that and so I can play games :) Otherwise they are good too.

I would just wait until a sale comes up at BB. I got a Toshiba for a Christmas Gift for my wife's dad for just under $300.

He has 4 desktops, just needed a laptop for some reason

alienware is okay but not worth it, especially if you're a college kid.
