Post by smoker »

i sold my bike last year to help out my family financially and i dont regret doing it but damn i miss that thing....i pulled it out of a garage of a house that burnt down and rebuilt it and customized it myself....there was so much more to that bike than meets the eye too....id love to buy another so im hoping that between now and next year ill find myself in a position to buy a touring bike like a goldwing or cavalcade...

i actually have the chaps....jacket black helmet with flames and all........i never had chaps till a few years ago when i was dating this chic about an hour away in ohio, she loved to ride but sometimes when i left her house it was cold as ice....so out came the chaps, jacket and gloves......sure i looked silly but theres nothing like the crisp night air knowing your boys are not gonna get chilled

My dad wanted a goldwing for the longest till he rode one. They are designed for someone in the 5/9 to 5/10 range. So he found it uncomfortable (he is 6/1 or so).

So now he is back to building a Tric, if he ever gets time.

Sorry to hear you miss it so much smoker. I started to miss riding mine last fall when I put it away for the winter. And the spring was torture because it rained almost every weekend in April. If you lived closer I'd let you take mine for a spin, although you might not like it as much since it isn't a cruiser.

I'm really not so much a steet bike person, but I sure miss going out dirt bike riding. What's worse, I still have my bike, but just don't have the time to go riding anywhere. Plus no way to get the bike anywhere, so need a friend to be able to go, so that makes it even tougher.

I haven't ridden my bike in maybe 2 years now??

Well I still have my bike.

Since the GF burned her leg on a pipe she wont ride anymore on it. She also lives here with me, so if I go somewhere she goes also.

Needless to say the bike dont get rode much. I think since she burned her leg Ive rode it maybe 6 times and a total of under 60 miles...

SO ya I want to sell it. Could use the $$ anyhow but dont have to sell it.
