So ten posts gives me a reputation good or bad, and gives me credability that what I am selling is not broken and that I am going to follow through an send the item. This is why I listed my Audiogon and Ebay ID's and feedback so that people would have somthing to go by. I'm sure those sites would have more credability than Car Audio Central! I have never bought anything from someone that was unable to provide some feedback from a major site and wouldn't suggest it for anyone else!

the 10 post rule is there to prevent people from joining only to list items for sale, because we've had issues with hoaxes when people do that.. scam artists.
People who actually contribute content to the site and help out are generally more trusted than people who've never offered anything to the site but their esire to sell products.

I have to disagree. CAC is more like a big extended family. Especially when you’re talking about the regulars. So when someone says they have something for sale, we all know its the real deal.blblues68 wrote: I'm sure those sites would have more credability than Car Audio Central! I
Thats another reason for the 10 post rule. We want people to be comfortable making a purchase from someone they may have never seen. What better way than asking the person selling to become part of the family.

I understand what you guy's are saying about regular posters on a board being more trustworthy but in the long run it still comes down to feedback I belong to Audiogon that is a home audio site. There are way more people that never post in the threads than do post. Most of the people are there to buy and sell, and really postive feedback is all people need to buy things from them. I am really not into car audio anymore and that is why I am posting my equipment for sale. I really grew quite tired of car audio installers in my area that had no idea what good sound was all about. I went through 6 different installers and spent way to much money for poor advise and half a$$ed installs. I finally went to a 6CH Mcintosh MC440M and MX406 a pair of Max Fidelity speakers (Dynaudio Clones) and a pair of MB Quart PWD254DVC subs. I had to drive 2 1/2 hours to Detroit to the Mcintosh dealer to get my system set up right. I finally got what I wanted a car that could compete with the sound of a good home system. So now I am into home audio much better results for less money and I don't half to worry about my stuff being ripped off. So anyone that would like to purchase some quality equipment can do so with confidence by reviewing my feedback at Audiogon or Ebay. Can I please have my listing's reposted Ryan so maby someone else can enjoy the equipment I no longer have a need for?
