woah woah woah... dont hate on Snoop!! B4 he sold out he was an amazing rapper... listen to his old school rhymes... I respect the classics in almost every sense... If you wanna talk about no tallent in the Rap industry quote somone like Ja Rule, Young Buck, or Shaggy. Snoop is in a class of his own, he is one of the few remaining oldschool rappers left from the East vs West coast rivalry, and his music was and still is great. Cept Drop it like its Hot... I hate that song... Another group that was great was NWA, not that i agree with the Cop killing aspect of their stuff, but u gotta hear some of their stuff, and especially Easy E. Sorry im ranting....

btw Smoker... I love your list and the only other thing i would add to that list is that i get the inherant right to beat the snot out of anyone who forgets to use their damn turn signal... that... pisses me off

I can respect some of the old skool rap, I personally like 2pac... He wrote about what he seen, saw and felt... He kind of sweeped in the fans with gangsta rhymes then threw out tracks like brenda's gotta baby & dear mamma... I think right before he died he was trying fairly hard to change his life...

im just not a rap guy and i honestly think that seeing kids in my years of retail, both people ive worked with and customers that the whole "gangsta, street punk, thug" style whatever you want to call it and the way kids talk nowadays keeps them from being taken seriously in the work place or in the real world for that matter....its not a matter of whether or not they are able to speak intelligently on a subject, its that they choose not to. i know every generation has their opinion on the decline of morality and values in our society, and maybe im just getting old but i have kids weekly come in looking for work who cant seem to find a belt. its this attitude (now im not saying everyone who dresses like this is not intelligent) that is the fast and furious wanne be a thug mentality that needs to find its demise at about 19 years of age.....

I'll give that... I mostly listen to alot of the music my mom grew of listening to, I generally don't listen to alot of rap, but when I do it's the old school stuff.
