Its high time to show the no good freeloaders some tough love my friend.
If these people have everything due to this woman and do nothing, its time they get cehcked.
You, you are the hand of justice. Invoke some fear and common sense into them...

here's what ya do, my boy.
take a day off when you have a chance. mon-fri.
pick her up on a non-dialysis weekday and take her AND ONLY HER with you to FIA (or whatever it's called there.. the medicaid/family independance admin..) and ask to speak with a counselor there (case worker.)
get her case worker to explain to BOTH of you what the rules are for getting help, fo rwhat she's allowed to own, her assets, etc.. and figure out what she's got, or what she can do and can't do.
Forget teh daughters. If you have questions, talk to the case worker. They'll even come out to the house if need be.
They are there to help you and her. Not to cause you more grief.
I've dealt with people like these daughters, and while I have a plethora of names for these types of people, I'll keep those to myself. I'll simply say that their only interests are their own, and for you and your aunt, the best solution is to seek outside help, and throw them the hell out.

I'm going to do some research on ride share and see if we can't get her started on that...GlassWolf wrote:here's what ya do, my boy.

Good luck with that, I really hope everything evens out in the end and people get what they deserve. Namely the fair treatment that your great aunt obviously deserves considering her health.MobileAudio219 wrote:I'm going to do some research on ride share and see if we can't get her started on that...

If/when I make any progress on getting here into the ride share program I'll let you guys know...
And thanks for letting me rant, I needed that... I've been in a real bad mood since yesterday night, some of my post might of reflected that, so sorry if I offended anybody... I feel 95% better....
Also thanks for the information you guys provided (more so kiki).
