Carver K-mos 2150???

Hey guys. I just picked up a good shape carver k-mos 2150, for 10 bucks. I'm 30. I used to have the old hcca's and art seriers ppi, rodek, etc. I know carver were pretty good amps back in the day. Whats up with this one guys? I know a few of ya may have had one on your time. If so experiences, opinions? thanks as always.. Joe

I remember the Carver series of amps. I think for 10bucks, you got a good deal, and a screaming deal if it works.

yeah, it works. It's not a large maybe 10x8. It's white w/ CARVER and kmos 2150 on the top. I figured it'd be a pretty nice quality. Should do my front stage justice.. thanks

I know they were compared to A/D/S back in the day... so you should be just fine

Well, just a quick two cents. I've always made fun of bazooka stuff, their raw stuff less than thier tubes, but I was damn surprised. I have a pioneer premier p8mp deck, goin to a fosgate power 500a2. to 2 bazooka 10's behind the seats of my older mr2, I'm pretty damn surprised at the sound quality, not audio reference quality by any means but pretty damn load and clear. I guess it helps, i replaced the older woofers with newer replacement line ones. my 2 cents

I just thought it was kind of cool. I just found out by accident, Sunfire/carver. In case I need repair or anything is about a half hour from my house. Nice stuff...

Well, just a quick update. The Amp works perfectly, and looks almost new. I finally had a chance to hook if up to my fronts (kicker). Good stuff. Seems like a well built amp. Not to bad for $10 bucks from some old guy. He said he didn't even know what the stuff was, It'd been if his car for years, he'd never used it or knew what it was. Nice...
