True true... There are some things i dont understand but yet i think they throw a couple coats of clear over those paint jobs to ensure a lil scratch protection.

All he did was stretch fleace over the box and only used the Resin to coat it, I never once saw him use actual Fiberglass nor did i see any at all.
to fiberglass stuff, you dont really have to touch fibergalss at all..
its more of a term used when polyester resin and bondo are used.
my kick panels dont have any fiberglass in them, just felt and an old t-shirt.

With kick panels you *might* be able to get away only fleece, but with a sub box you'd definitely want to add 5-6 layers of mat over that.

As for reme's box, the one that you are probably thinking of was a 6 sided mdf box, the front was fiberglass only to add shape, it was already sealed from the mdf baffle that was sunken in... Dont know how to describe, but it was a nice box (haha).

nah this one was in a Ferarri but i know what ur saying... Nah im not splitting up my Subs i have my Speakers in a Pod directly center in my truck and i have basically no imaging so what im going to do is take the speakers out and then cut it in half and sealit back up and then put them on the extremes of my cab all the way to the left and right near the seatbelt pulleys
