I used to run an old AMD 1.4 Ghz thoroughbread core overclocked to about 2.2 ghz. Never had a problem with it. I eventually upgraded to a 2.8 ghz processor and couldn't even notice a difference. Now I've been running the same stuff for several years now. I'm looking at building a 64 bit machine probably next year.

Yep I'm been putting off building a new computer, just waiting for the 64 bit stuff to get a little better, and cheaper. I'm hoping next year too :)Airforceyooper wrote:I used to run an old AMD 1.4 Ghz thoroughbread core overclocked to about 2.2 ghz. Never had a problem with it.
