Need new music!

Post by Vindicate »

I'm getting sick of the stuff I've been listening to > Metal, rock, funky rap like Beastie Boys.

I've heard some techno songs that aren't those crappy club mixes, but they hit heavy in the bass and are really funky like. An example would be Halloween - Mars and Mystre. I've heard some KRS-One songs and like his style.. Can anyone name some bands that are similiar to these guys? Anything that hits heavy in the bass and has funky and different riffs and stuff to go with it is what I'm looking for.

go get the crystal method cd that has the song "trip like I do", the whole cd hits hard and you will recognize about 3 or 4 of the songs from movies and radio. Great cd for showing off your stereo, not just bass either!
Morel Elate 3-ways ran by a Genesis Series III Dual-mono, Morel Ultimo ran by an Autotek mm3000.1, Alpine DVA-9861

JC's Customs
For all your stereo wants.......

the crystal method is great. The white room by the KLF is old, but it's got a few good tracks, too. track 7 if I recall, opens with a note you need good subs to pick up.. hits so low ya don't hear it.. only see things falling off the dash.

I remember cheering when I heard Crystal Method used in the soundtrack for Witchblade, too.. heh

Vindicate, send me your address, I will send some compilations of "mash" mp3s and a cd from one of my students. He takes the melody from one song, with the beat from another and "mashes" them together. It might be what you are looking for. I can burn you two cd's, but you have to have a way to listen to MP3's (MP3 compatible HU)

hope you like 'em.
