pissed off...

Post by two4fifteen »

it just seems to be one of those weeks already. on sunday my drivers side window switch on my car stops working, so now my drivers window is stuck all the way down, yay. not like it rains this time of year. so i go to a dealership yesterday and pay the bastards 73 bucks to order a new one that should come in today. good. now, later that day, im driving and i notice my coolant light just came on, great. i pull off and notice coolant leaking pretty bad out of the front left corner of my car. great, its not like it gets hott this time a year, and its not like i was planning on driving 300 miles on wednesday down to indiana for work. so this morning i drop it off at the shop and have my brother take me to work. now i get to sit and wait, hoping my window switch actually comes in today, hoping that these bastards at the repair shop dont completely screw me over and charge me 200 bucks for a new pump if its only a hose or seal or some shit, and hoping that they even get it done today and that it makes it down to indiana tomoro.... im pretty pissed.....

and now i dont know if ill have the money for these midbass drivers....

just felt like venting

Hey its ok, is your car at the shop already? If not just look over your coolant line to see if where its leaking from... If u can see that the line is drenched and the beginning of the leak is from where the line meets where its tied into the radiator, or pump then u can at least try to see if the clamp is loose. I've been in worse situations, where i was going home from school and my truck broke down... Bad fuel + Rusted Fuel Rail + Bad Catylitc Converter = Shop saying that I need a New serpentine belt total cost 1,600 so be thankful your car is still running

i guess your right. but yeah, i just got a call from the shop a few minutes ago. apparently the actual radiator was leaking, and its gunna cost me $390 for parts and labor. so now i just put in $460 in my car between this and my window switch in the past 2 days. that was suppose to be money spent on my system, not repairing my car, and right before i go back to school for 3 months so i cant even make that money back right away.

i checked what i could, and couldnt find where the leak was coming from. i would have dicked around with it more myself but i had no time.

good news keeps coming. now my boss just called me and asked if i can be down in toledo tonight, so im really hoping this guy puts this new radiator in fast. i need my car back...

well try this on for size lol i bought my blazer in o4 by mid 05 it was in the shop 21 times. all under the extended warranty i got but still costs me 100 in deductable. the most major things were 4x4 hubs. total rear axel replacment ($4300) fuel system issues. ie 6-8mpg maf sensor numerous other sensors and tons of other things. in all they ended up putting about 13k worth of money into my truck and i bought it for 12,900 with 37000 miles on it. moral of the story dont buy a blazer.
