my price range is 100-$175. what kind of amp would be best for my audiobahn flame q 1100 rms sub

Check ebay. I got my Kicker 800.2 for $187 and it puts out over 1kw. You aren't going to want to get an 1100 watt amp for that sub anyway, it will probably destroy it.
