Did you just put that 3rd harddrive on your secondary IDE channel?

Yeah I got a few min free at work. Not much going on tonight.

Hackers nothing, I will just let my grandmother use Vista, she can break anything.

on that note, I can get Vista at no charge, so when it comes out, I will see how good the actual Vista really is.

my current computers are: 486DLC w/math coprocessor, 33mhz with Turbo button, 850meg hard drive, both kinds of disk drives (3.5 and 5.25) with a 4x cdrom drive. 12meg of ram. Believe it or not, this is my gateway, it runs Red Hat Linux 6.2 (gui not installed).
Next up is a dual 600mhz Pentium 2 with 512mb ram, 120G HD, Windows XP running (son's computer, used to be mine)
Next up is my Dell (got tired of building them) Pentium 4 3.24Ghz, 1.5G Ram, dual 250G harddrives, CD-RW/DVD-RW combo drive, Windows XP Pro installed, but dual boot with Windows 2003 Server to play with.
Next is my laptop: Dell 17" Widescreen 2.40Ghz Pentium Centrino Duo? something like that, I don't have it handy to double check, but the work gave it to me. DVD-RW, Docking station, 1G Ram, Windows XP Pro installed. Oh and 120G HD. That is about it, unless you count the new computers I have at work, to which they are Dell's as well, my current one has dual 19" LCD monitors, Pentium 4 Duo, 3.24GHz, 2G Ram, 250G HD, with CD, DVD-RW, and everything is USB 2.0 based so I have about 10 ports on the computer and 2 ports each on the monitors.

Beautiful computers Joe!

Btw, I cancelled the order for the 6800 and just went with the x1600pro instead. Figured I might as well buy the near cream of the crop so this computer will last me a few more years until another set of processors come out lol.

I got out of the computer hardware scene awhile ago. I still have my old computer, but I used to love getting the top of the line computer and building them.

Yea. My cd drive is the master on that one.

Haha, I had RAID configurations before. I needed that hdd speed with striping for video editing. I'm a film major. Raw uncompressed video is 30 MB/s, so you do the math :)

I no longer am running the 3 in RAID 0. I found out recently that this motherboard only does software RAID. My previous had hardware RAID.

The 250 gig really wasn't going to be in my good computer, but I had to change motherboards on my server, and the mobo in there now does not have sata.
