There is a post on here that give a good run down of subsonic filters and how to set them. It even list a freq that if your box is tuned below you can get away without running one. I beleive the freq was in the low 30s (32 or so) but I don't rember right off hand.

If you can find it, it will answer all your questions.

I know geolemon wrote part of it, but I can't find it. Hopefully someone knows the thread I am talking about.

If not, 25 shouldn't be to bad. I like to set them a little closer, but your tuning the box pretty low, so you should be ok.

Im not sure how it will sound in a sedan like my camry according to JL specs but most people here say go by JL specs and all. They say 1.5 net @ 32hz for 2 10w6v2's with dual slot ports. / .75 net per sub

Originally i thought that was way to small but everyone here says go by JL with the exception of one person. I mean dont get me wrong. I love to save space and go the smaller route if its going to sound optimum at that size.

JL should know their products and how they perform. If they recommend it, it should be perfect for it. If you have doubts, call them up and ask to talk to a technical person and see what they have to say.

Yeah i called up JL and spoke to Hector Yanaz. He said that i should follow JL specs that came with the subwoofer. No need to go larger according to him.

So 1.5 cuft net @ 32hz with a preset subsonic filter at 25hz

I can get this modified if i pay arc audio money.

I noticed on some sites that sell the 10w6v2. They recommend from .75-1.25 cuft but on the pdf it only mentions .75

he seems to make extremly nice enclousures the only gripe i have is he uses 1/2" mdf for port walls. claiming it to be for weight reduction. ehh dont thinkg .25 inches of mdf will weight that much but i guess its not a huge deal.
