Post by rlemieux »

Need to know what is the best way to wire 2 4 ohm 10" Stage 2 Rockford Fosgates to a P500.2 amplifier.

Amp is rated for 125 W x 2 @ 4 Ohms RMS
250 W x 2 @ 2 Ohms RMS
500 W x 1 @ 4 Ohms bridged RMS

Yep, won't be able to bridge it with those subs.
so you'll have to wire each sub into each channel.

Whether you wire them stereo at 4 ohm per channel or bridge it at 8 ohm, the power output should be about the same. I bridge just for the sake of doing it. Honestly though, I'd probably just use one sub and bridge the amp to the one. Forget the second sub all together.
