No.

Its not to easy to cut full sheets of MDF on a table saw. The sizes needed usualy are outside the limits of the fence on the saw in the first place.

You would be better served getting a decent cicruclar saw and blade, a piece of 2" Almunimu angle 1/8" Thick, two quick squeeze clamps and some ear plugs/safety glasses. Oh ya dont forget a good tape measure and pencil!

i happen to suck with a circular saw and currently have absolutely no where to really cut unless i bulit a table.

I think ryan is saying to use the angle aluminum as a fence, so you really don't need to worry about how good you are with a circular saw. I have another suggestion i like to do as well, cheap as well :) Get a piece of wood about 3/4" thick by 2 or 3 inches wide, make sure at least one side of it is a factory edge. Screw that to a wider piece, at least the width of the circular saw table(base) plus the smaller piece, flush the edges putting the factory edge to the center of the larger piece. Now run your circular saw down the make shift fence cutting the larger piece to the proper width. This may be hard to understand without seeing what I'm talking about, but it is extremely easy to make. now you can set your "jig" on the wood to be cut, screw it or clamp it(careful where you place screws when cutting wood for a box :) ) and just run your circular saw down the jig, and it the words of john madden "BOOM" you have your cut!

EDIT: I personally prefer a table saw though ;)

I like ryobi table saw. I dont remember for sure what model it is, maybe the bt3100? It has the all the little extras, extensions, router, different bench...

I dont remember how big of cuts its able to make, I'll have to look tomorrow...

42' ??? What could you possibly be cutting that you'd need that? I can't picture that at all.
