drove a bmw today

Post by NViejeP »

me and my friends were at my friends house just hanging out becuase there were fireworks tonight at san francisco. we got hungry so we cdied to go out nad get some food, my friend's mom bought her a bmw like 2 weeks ago. so while we were about to get food I decided to ask if I can drive it, surprisingly she said yes.

I'm not sure what model BMW it is, but its a convertible, 4 seater, very compact, i'm 5"9 and i was squished, my head was about to punch through the top.

My regular car is a toyota 4runnerr 2000 model, as soon as I hit the acceleration on this BMW, I was surprised, it was amazing. it was a amazingly fast car. the only 3 cars i've driven were an old toyota, my dad's mercedses 1994 e class, and my 4runner. and wow I'm taken away.

I was hooked on it. thoguth I'd share since I have nothing better to do haha

I've liked the way the BMWs I've driven felt. Very nice on the interior and drove very nice. My problem with them is that they're so tiny. I'm a pretty big guy and even the 5 series feel too damn small. My Jag drives nothing like a BMW at all, but it feels twice as big. When I was younger I wouldn't have cared. But now, I have to be comfortable or I'd rather not drive it at all.

Hey NV, how was Kaboom, did you go to the pier and watch it. I went a couple of years ago and it was incredible. I heard this year they were going to blow off 7 tons of fireworks this year. I moved to stockton from hayward a couple of years ago so it makes it hard to get to some of that stuff now. I ussually just go in when there is a good show at the filmore or the warfield otherwise its not worth the hassel. I heard los lonley boys were playing at kaboom. I would have liked to seen them, well theres always next year.

Hey NV, i dno man, but im 5'9" and ive driven quite a few BMW's since i work at a shop, and my head has never been that close to the roof. But neways. Once you drive a bmw, you are usually hooked on them. I love the way they just carve thru corners. And yes, even tho they arent the most powerful engines in the world, they still pull with quite a bit of OOMPH.

Now all you gotta do is drive a 1967-76 bmw...those are fun as hell. Remember, real BMW's have round headlights :thumbsup

Kabboom was cool, went to my friends house for some sort of party; not a huge one. Fireworks at first were really cool, but halfway throguh it me and my friedns got into a fight with some kids that were at the party and that pretty much ruined it. I missed the rest of it LOL.

About the BMW, My legs were pretty crammed. My head was toching the roof. It was a small convertible with like 100k miles on it.

What I noticed about it was the steering wheel was a lot more sensitive than my 4Runner. It turns very nicely, and damn is it fast.
