We met on a choir trip back in 88, I was her best friend for 13 yrs before she would say yes to marrying me. In hindsight, it was probably best she held out for as long as she did, I was a bit of a screwup back when we met. Best thing about the whole situation was, I got the only thing I have ever wanted besides her...and that was to call her son....my son.

I wasn't there for the conception, but I have been in his life ever since. He turned 17 today.
