need some honest input

i've got a friend who has two punch hx2 12's,dual 4ohm coils,and a power 7505,i think,two channel amp,and a q logic sealed box...he bought all of this at an auction for $10,and it works perfectly,cosmeticaly you can tell that it's used,but it is still in good conditon...now,he wants to sell this stuff and get something a little more sq geared...my question is,what are the rockford amp and subs in the box worth?i don't like rf so i don't have a clue..the kid is only thirteen and he says the rockfords are loud enough,but "they just don't sound right"...so what do you guys think...Damon

When I was 12 I bought my Sony CDX-4000X cdplayer. I retired it last october. It lasted through 3 vehicles. It went well with the 6.5" Cambridge Soundworks coaxials in the first vehicle :)

probably for the same reason any of us are looking for car audio systems,he enjoys his music,and in the state of kansas we can legaly drive with a licsensed driver at 13...add the fact that the kid busts his ass on a harvest crew every year and wants to spend his money on something he can enjoy...anyhow,does anyone know what the rockford stuff is worth?...Damon

Not to sure about the models and stuff. But he maybe able to get around $100 for the package on E Bay with a proper auction.

i would try to sell it to another person like him. Someone in high school, or middle school in your case who wants a system.

damn thats stuff retailed at around 600-800$, but you could probably get like 200$ .

He says they dont sound right, is everything set up right? Is it distorting or if they are damage that might make em not sound right or maybe RF just sounds crappy, dunno My favorite average sub is Infinity.
