quick question

Post by JL Man »

my dvd player came in and i hooked it up and all works fine except for the part about grounding the parking brake wire so it will play a movie while driving. isn't that what is supposed to happen if you ground the parking brake wire?

did u have to hook that unit up to a vss wire? if so, i think your unit is incapable of bypassing. i have an eclipse av8022 and all i had to do was ground the parking brake wire and it works. but i believe pioneer sucks about that.

vehicle speed sensor i believe.. depending on what car you have, it can be within your radio wires. older cars you will have to access it at the main wires. not totally sure about that. did you install? if so, how did you do it?

You need to put a toggle switch in the green ebreak wire. In order for it to work, after starting the car the unit must see: parking break on, parking break off, then parking break on again. You can do that with a toggle switch. If you can't figure out how, then I am sorry and you are an idiot.
