Well, I wanted an all Alpine system, but the more I think about it the more I realize it's not too terribly important.

I was looking around and found a few amps that peaked my interest.

.........is this one even any good?? It seems awfully cheap to be good. I know it was in the "good" list in the good bad and ugly thread, but still, the cheap price worries me.

......also, what about this one, it seems good.

The Diamond audio amp HANDS DOWN, will stomp all over the MA amp. In every catagorey. I wouldn't trust MA Audio, since they are a product of audiobahn. I would want anything like that to touch my car. As for alpine I'd stick with their SUBS, and thats pretty much it. It seems as thought their cd player lines have been getting hit with high failers, but I dunno how much so, so I can't say stay away completely.

Match that DA amp with subs from ether;

I don't know about alpine's HU either.

........I think I'm going to have to find one used or something, cuz I don't think they make those anymore.

I don't think I would want to talk to my HU, wonder how funny I would look screaming at it when it kept sayin command not recognized!! My damn cell phone does that, and I refuse to use it. I like JVC, look at there arsenal line. JVC AR7000 :) I can vouch for it, kicks mad ass.

Look also into;

Eclipse, and Pioneer Primeir.

I've always liked eclipse even though I always seem to end up using Pioneer Premier. Clarion also has a couple nice decks. Alpine F1 looks pretty good if you've got the money. I've never been a fan of JVC, but it seems it might be a better product than I give it credit for.

Naw, I'm not getting that specific one. I just showed you that to show you what it looked like. I'm just getting a kameleon, I don't care for voice acitvation or all that extra bullshit. I just like the way it looks. All I really want is a cd player and a decent equalizer. So, I'll probably end up getting a lower class kameleon. They've got like 5 or 6 different kinds. They all pretty much look the same, just different features.
