Post by C1v1c00 »

I have the A2150HCT Amp well its been working fine wth my subs briged at 1 ohm, but it stopped working today all the of the sudden the status light keeps coming on and going off, i've checked all the speaker wire to check and see if any wires are touching None are touching?? So does this mean the amp is Dead, only when i unplug the Rca's does the amp stay blue. I'm running a clarion Headunit connexted to the DPH910 model EQ under the seat with the Cenet cable please respond thanks

well I would try switching the rca's if even if it's running temporaries without hiding just to check the rca cables... if it works take out the old and run the new.

If you are running an amp to clip, it sure can blow after 2 months. Sounds like a short in the signal phase.

Hmm ok in i dont understand that, use idiot terms lol and to bypass the eq i'm going to have to rip out the deck witch will suck I have a 4 channel amp hooked up also witch is still working just fine. So i just might have to bypass the eq wtf

Or it's the amp. If your other one is working fine. Audiobahn isn't the greatest, just to let you know. How many watts in the abanh anyway?

Are you 100% sure that the amp is 1 ohm stable? If its not then that is your problem right there.

Ya its 1 ohm stable running Orion Xtr3's wired to 1 ohm

Heres a pic of the specs

Image

Check back to the OP to see the Amp type 3rd one in...

and i just pulled the deck unhooked the EQ ran the rca's straight back to the amp and bingo same thing -.- The deck i run has to have the EQ is the older higher end Clarion that has no internal amp.....

And ya i know Audiobahn is generic to a certain extent but amp was givin to me by a friend pretty much brand new he lost his license and tore his engine out of his integra to re-build it...... he's gonna be pissed lol
