Looking For Xtant 1.1i's or D series Soundstream

Post by Fishy »

Hey guys, long time.

Buying a new Explorer and am looking to do a super-stealthy install this time around. Anyone got any of these amps(Xtant 1.1i, Soundstream D100, D60, or Class A 50)? or know where I could find some? I've got a couple 1.1i's already and sure would like to keep everything Xtant.

Thanks

you've checked ebay?? I dunno if you like it or not, but I have used ebay, and haven't had a problem until I bought a CD, buy they were from canada, so that explains it lol. http://www.cardomain.com They might sell xtant, or http://www.sounddomain.com I think it's the same thing tho I dunno. Have you searched to see if you have any xtant dealers in your area?

Yeah. Thats where I got my previous 1.1i's. Took me about 3 months of looking to finally get a couple. I found a D100 today:

Maybe I'll just go Old School Soundstream this time. I really am just looking for something really dinky to go under the seats. Unfortunately "small" doesn't seem to be in anymore. If it ain't huge it must suck, right? Wrong. I've got a busted Class A 50II that was was one of the sweetest amps I've ever listened to, just not loud. I'm gettin old and don't need SPL anyways. Those 1.1i's go great with "harsh" MB Quart Q's as well as they are a bit lacking in the upper frequencies.

Thanks for the reply.

Oh yeah I've checked Sound Domain. They don't seem to carry anything Xtant anymore and the nearest dealer is 3+ hours away in Tampa. Wasn't really looking to pay $300 a pop for those lil tykes, but I may have to.

How talk about old school, lol. SoundStream has moved more into mainstream hasn't? Bling factor. You could always find a good amp, and cover it in plexi to just show of the guts. Only you would know the brand. Ever think about that?
