unlock my kenwood?

picked up a vehicle at auction,had a kenwood ddx7105 in dash in it,darn thing is locked!even found the remote under the seat!

can anyone tell me how to unlock this unit,or do i have to send it in?

i didnt know the 7015 can be locked... i dont remember seeing that option on the manual(i wanted this unit) are u sure its in working order and that everything is hooked up correctly?

You might be screwed. It is a code that the first user chooses, not a universal number. Best bet would be to call Kenwood and explain the situation.

sorry,model# is ddx 7015, and yes, it asks for the code to be inputted on the touchscreen as soon as you power it up......
