Okay, my bro-in-law has a pioneer head unit in his accord. he has the stock speakers in it. when he turns up the volume, whenver the bass hits, or the highs get really loud, there is this screeching/squawking/squealing sound emanating from the speakers. its pretty high pitched. i already checked the ground, i thought that might be the problem, so i ran an extra ground and then checked both with a multimeter, and there is about 12.3 volts going thru them. my question is, what else could this be, and how do i go about fixing it?
the model number for the cd player is:
DEH-P4600MPhttp://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4039_50410536,00.html

probably just some noise from alternator or something. might check out some noise filters possibly. let see what some of these other guys have to say though
Morel Elate 3-ways ran by a Genesis Series III Dual-mono, Morel Ultimo ran by an Autotek mm3000.1, Alpine DVA-9861

yes, it still squeals with the car off, and yes the car was off when i measured the voltage. the speakers in the rear arent stock, but im pretty sure the ones up front are stock.
Do you think that it could be alternator noise? i thought so too, but i dont know, since it does it when its off. do you think that it could be a polarity problem or an impedance problem?
