Cheap but good 2ch amp and 1ch mono
Cheap but good 2ch amp and 1ch mono
Hi,
Im looking for a cheap class a/b 2 channel amp that will give 2 x 100w RMS (@ 4 ohms). Plus a 1 channel class D mono amp with 500w-750w RMS (@ 2ohms).
For the mono is have come up with:
MTX 6500D
JBL bp600.1
(Any more suggestions?)
I dont know about the 2ch amp, hard to find older good models.
My budget is tight, but I will pay little more if worth it.
Many thanks in advance!

uhh it does?
a 5 channel amp is a pair of 2 channel amps and a mono amp in one case. a 3 channel amp is a stereo amp and a mono amp together. has nothing to do with headroom.
if you bridged channels 1+2 and 3+4 on a 5 channel amp, you'd be doing the same as running the 3 channel amp with channels 1+2 @ 2 ohms.. so you'd actually lose headroom with the 5 channel amp.
