Amp Hookup

Hi everyone,

I am a new kid on the block, have been away from upgrading stereo's for about 20 years (when there were no subwoofers), anyway I come into contact with a kicker amp and sub, I thought there would a couple of plugs in the back saying to and from amp plug in and off I go! But that is not the case, what I have is audio out rear and audio out front...plus I have a sub out mono.

I thought the way it would be is hook the AMP to the stereo hook the sub to the amp and be good to go....I will list the stuff I have below.

Any help would be appreciated, also would it be recommended to get rid of the stereo I have? I am not looking for anything fancy (and I am happy with the stereo) just would like good sound.

if the sony works and does what you need and you're hapy with it, why change?

I don't want to change just didn't know if what I have will do the job.

A person gave me some input on what I need to do so I should be good to go. I tried to search the forum and didn't find what I was looking for, it may be there in different terms but I couldn't find it.
