you'll need a single 4 ohm coil sub, or a dual 2-ohm coil sub for this, if you're using a single sub.
Okay cool so when I call Resonant to order my RE12, I should tell them to make a dual 2-ohm coil right?

Also, what RMS wattage am I looking at? Should I look at the 8 ohm rms wattage or the 4 ohm rms wattage?

bridged output to a 4 ohm load will equal the combined output at 2 ohms in stereo..

so for example, if the amp is rated for 100 watts x 2 @ 2 ohms, and 50W x 2 @ 4 ohms, bridged, you'll get 200W @ 4 ohms (but bridged it's only stable to 4 ohms, so you don't actually gain any more power this way.. it just puts everything into one speaker.)

RE doesn't make the RE series in Dual 2ohm, and I don't believe they will custom make them for extra money either.

Really now? So does that mean I can't buy the RE12s with my amp.. or does that mean I have to get a different ohm?
