AUX Imput

Post by veggie-man »

As I have been looking for a new HU with an AUX input, I have been able to find very few with a front AUX. Why is that? Isn’t the point of having an AUX input to be able to play music from your cd/mp3/I pod players?

I do understand you could have a wire coming from around the back but where would you put the wire without making it look like there is an arbitrary wire hanging out? Although putting an AUX input in the front may not look the nicest, it seems A LOT more practical. I must be missing something here!

Mainly my question is why isn’t there many HU’s with a front AUX input?
and if I buy a HU with a rear AUX input where would I make the wire come out?

EDIT: lol look at the title ... imput ohhh boy

i install panasonic and pioneers with the aux input and i generally just leave an rca cord in a handy spot for easy access....

btw if you get a pioneer you can get an i-pod adaptor
