Amp Help!
Wow, I have never seen this before. Everyone is telling someone to keep the kicker subs.
Honestly I agree with them 100%. The kicker subs are your best bet. I would keep them and invest in a ported box. Then sell the other speakers and get an amp that will match up with the kickers. JL E series, JBL, or even a Kicker amp. Something that is well made, but won't cost you a ton. Then get a new headunit, and later on upgrade your factory speakers.

Ok...I ''heard'' that http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=6255161&type=product&productCategoryId=cat03081&id=1072284520697 was good, I really dont want to keep any of these speakers that I have but I only want two 12"s BUT I DO have the money, its just I've asked my parents for the alot of money alot of times and they're getting tired of me being "spoiled" but my mom just got a promotion at work and she gets a $1,000 bonus like...every month or something? So she said she'll help me get it as long as I keep the house clean and stuff...BUT we were going to sell all these subs in this lil thrifty nickel thing she knows about and I was gonna sell two for $150 and the Cerwin's for $100. But those Kenwood's that I provided a link for sounded good to me and they're only $59 each and I could get a box for about $30 at the flea market. But OMG this sucks so bad. Because every place around here costs too much.

Pass on those kenwoods. They are crap. I can seel you a 15" alpine Type R for 130 Shipped? And I would pass on buying a box at a flea market. They are most likey crap too. If you were to buy pre-fab boxes, I'd ask around on here. Someone can get you a deal.

I got a dual 10" ported box I will give to you for shipping...
Gaurntee it will be better than any flea market box you can buy/find.
I also have a single 12" ported box with the same deal...
Anyhow Kenwood isnt to hot on subs anymore, as you can see.
Seriously if you want something thats good and will last thats CHEAP, Resonant Engineering RE series...
$77 for a 12" sub. A single 12" will give you a good thump and fill. Two will start to get some decent bass. Best part is they dont need much power! This means a higher quality amp for less money due to not so much power!
I mean unless you want to buy a subpar product?

Princess, power handling is just a thermal value. It's no indication of a sub's quality or even how much power it actually needs for ideal performance.
The Kicker sub is a better quality speaker than anything from Kenwood. Speakers are not Kenwood's forte.
