Why not a Kicker KX1200.1? It'd be cheaper than dual 600.1s.

I'm running an Orion 2500d (1700W@2 ohms) to my 12" XXX in a sealed box. (Dual 4 ohm config, as I was planning on getting another one.) Orion 2500 ~= Viper 2500. Pounds pretty good as far as I'm concerned.

I am running a JBL 1200.1 to each of my XXX's. It seems to work out nicely. a little under the RMS rating but will still move the sub. You can pick them up used pretty cheap.

That's probably what I'd do...

I think the hifonics are a little over-rated power wise, but you'd still be getting a good watt per dollar ratio so... :fing02:

JVC KD-S100, PPI 356c's ,Hifonics ZXI 6410, 10" AB DX
