Hmmm you got an Alternator on this boat? If not you will probably want one or a bank of Optima Yellow Tops...

Kenwood speakers just suck. Actualy 6x9's overall suck. You will get more output looking into 6 1/2" Speakers. I would HIGHLY advise looking into Marine Speakers. They make them for a reason yanno?

Alpine has some nice Marine 2 way 6.5" Speakers. I would start there.

yea ryan i know what you mean but i think he would have to custom fiberglass the panel for the 6.5's and he might not know how to do that. as for speakers if you can do what ryan suggested for speakers i dont like kenwood i dont like kicker i would look into the higher end of pioneer. i would also look at alpine. as for the subs they wont be loud enough for on a bout infact i dont think you will hear them at all with the motor running what kind of boat is this and what kind of motor?

we have a boat scheduled for monday morning...doing 4 6x9's and a pair of 10's in it....a lot of people are putting subs n their boats.....a few years back i built a box for a guy with a single 8 in it and it sounded fine when the boat was driftin....of course he had a twin turbo 454 in it........most boats have at least 2 batteries nowadays i think.....but anyway we are doing 4 scosche 6x9's under the rear seat, and 2 elevation comp 10's under the consoles and possibly replacing some speakers he has in the front along with an xs125.4....

the box is set up for 6x9 but if the paint doesnt match im going to repaint it if so i can go w/ 6.5 ill have to see. it does have an altenator not the best but 2 battiries now it has a 350 engine. its a 99 malibu wakesetter.
are the infinity 12's any good?
i read at one place the kicker ks693 were marine thats why i listed them and ive seen alot of people with kickers on towers but what model 6x9s do u think are better?

if its newer its not as loud but i strongly think you should sell the infinitys and get something that is louder suchs as an elevation audio comp 12 or comp 10 the bravox BVX's are nice but a lil expensive. where are you located?
