What subs do you have?

Maybe you can put the arc on it just reduced power. It can handle 2 Ohm loads PER channel, but not bridging the channel.

RE8's I did hook up the ARC but It didn't sound that loud, so I just unhooked it. I'll just sell everything and save up for my new system.

Kicker makes really good mid-level amps. It really isn't all that common for their amps to have failures. The subs are a different story, but their speakers and amps are pretty underrated, unfortunately the L7s are the ones that get all the attention.

Yes, the L7's have their design flaws, but really...I havnt heard many complaints from the Comp or CompVR line. I don't think Kicker should recieve a bad rep just because their solobaric line has some design flaws. Also, you have to think about the people who buy L7's. Mainly kids who have no knowledge of audio what so ever and crank the gains to get it louder. Also, SPL competitors still use the L7's because..well let's face it...they're loud and can be had cheap. I've got an idea a lot of those L7 failures had to do with misuage, not just design quality.
