Best 10" for full range of music

anyways, i guess i will just keep what i have for the moment, which is (2) 12" type Rs, but i thought maybe a 10" with better SQ would be a little nicer for rock music. But its giong to be to much less hassle to keep what i have.but what i do need now is a set of 6.5" coaxils or components and anyone with suggestions for a pair with good midbass should post. My budget is $200 max.

You actually might want to consider a different box for them. What do you have now? (the Type-R's)

I have the R's in two seperate sealed boxes at .85 ft3 each. I like the sound and everything its just i think the R favors deeper bass notes such as those in rap and has a harder time reproducing the higher notes of rock and roll, which is what i listen to. I like the R's a lot but i think the IDMAX may play far better with the type of music i listen to. I dont really know b/c i havent heard one, but from everyone saying it is in there top 3 best SQ sub, i'm pretty sure it would be a step up. But for now I will keep what i have and just be happy.

and AUDIOBASS do you have the CAdence CWM6 component set?

if you do how does it sound?

what kind of power do you have one them? and is it good clean power? cause a shitty amp will make a good sub perform badly.

This is certainly not the 1st time I heard this... yet I have not been able to find any substancial evidence that ADS has gone down hill in the form of either a) Layoffs to engineers during\after the aquisition or b) changes in the technolgy used on their products. Let alone any worthy published reviews.

Without the proper details, why can't we assume this was a smart move in DEI's strategy by aquiring speaker technology they did not previously posses?

One thing we lack for sure is a notable magazine taking time to publish reviews\interviews when changes in the market occur.

also we need straight reviews not biased because the company that they are testing spends an ass load for advertising so they give them a great review. i have had an older ads 8ch in my shop not too long ago and it was a great amp and some kid had me install a newer ads amp and i dont think it was doing quite as much as it was suppose to do. but it was a decent amp but i dont think it was on par with their older stuff.

Sorry, I missed this thread. Yes, that's the set I have. They're not installed yet. I'll let ya know as soon as they're in.
