Stock Wiring diagram?

I just bought a used 90 lumina AVP van thats missing the radio & want to install a CD player but the wiring harness is cut out.

I can tell which wires are the speakers but I'm not sure about what colors are constant & ing switch.There is no red wire coming from the vehicle.

I would appreciate any help!

You might have some luck looking on http://www.installdr.com

The best way to find out would be to find a test light. You can pick up a cheap one at any auto parts store. Just ground it and touch the end of the test light to the wires and turn the key on. When a wire becomes hot (12 volts running thru it) the test light will light up letting you know.

You're welcome. If i were you, i would still buy or borrow a test light just to make sure. You dont want to hook everything up and install it to find out that the website was wrong, then have to take everything apart again.

Anyway, a test light is a good thing to have if you are installing car stereo.

yea that site is pretty helpful but i have found discrepencies in the past...very minor and always with the speaker wire codes, i havent found any with the power side of things but i always test to make sure...that site is real helpful when someone has had a radio stolen and all your left with is shredded wires...

How would I test this? with a multi meter I have never used 1 before?
What should the readings be I'm sure the Battery/Memory would register 12v what about the Ign/Acc what should it be?
