Ford install

I'm installing a deck in a ford taurus and i've never done a ford before... i cant find a dash kit for it so does the cd player just slide in and fit or what?

Depending on the year, it probably needs a special kit. The climate controls are on the smae panel as the radio...

Try someone that carries Metra or American International!

but on some you cant even get a kit and have to do a custom install. the ones with the electronics climate control instead of the knobs. but if its older like a 93 you dont even need one.

I dont know the specific year, i'll find out though... the climate control and everything is on a different panel... the factory radio is the same size as the aftermarket and it just slides out w/ a din kit

Its a late 90's model... 97 or 98 ford taurus...

it cant be if the radio is separate. 95 was the last model of ford taurus to have the radio separate. it's the easiest install ever, i had a 93 a couple years ago. pop out the old, new wiring harness, pop in the new one. done.
