For people who are sponsored

Post by alldaz »

I'm just wondering exactly how you got sponsored. Did you write to the company or something like that? I'm only 17, but i've been into car audio for a while. I'm on a budget here so this is why I have these crappy subs, I mean they are pretty loud to be so cheap. When I turn 18 I want to get more serious into this whole thing, and i'm just wondering what are some steps I should take

ok i feel like a jack ass, lol.

I've been seeing people say various stuff about sponsorships on this forum lately. It was one thread where someone said they were selling their subs because they were sponsored and trying to get rid of their stuff. guess not :sad017:

Theres sponsored then there is SPONSORED

Some people just get stuff at a discount which varies. THis is the most common kind of sponsorship. Usually the people getting these kinds are buying up TONS of stuff.

The Real sponsorship is when companies give you stuff for free. To get to this level you need to be an avid competitior and know everything pretty much. Most of all you have to be proven...

You would have to have a good list of credentials to be sponsored, as in, Scott Buwalda good. You have to be proven in competition bodies such as IASCA.

You can't really ask for a sponsorship. The sponsor will be the one sending you things, ASKING you to promote their stuff. That's when you know you're good....it takes a while to build a reputation. If that's what you're looking for, be prepared to invest thousands of dollars, and a lot of time.
