What kind of cd player do you have?
What kind of RCA's do you have?
Make sure you have your power wire and RCA's running on opposite sides of the car. This noise you can hear sounds like interference to me. I had this same problem. I ordered some Stinger RCA's off of ebay for 11 bucks. Got a new deck and my problem is gone.
Also you might want to make sure your ground is completely bare metal.

Probably the ground wire on the headunit.
How was this radio wired? Did you used a wiring harness adapter?
Is it wired with electric tape/twisted? Electric crimp on connectors? Soldered?

well did you install it or did a place like circuit city or best buy? If a store did it or a car audio shop most likely they used a wiring harness, that just means its a series of wires in plastic that fits into your stock car one...basscrazy wrote:my head unit fits snug
about the wiring idont know
how would i check?
if you want to check the connections, pull the deck out (for all the ones i've dealt with you use two metal arms that insert on each side and pull the deck out, dunno if its different with different brands) and just tak a peek in the back, although your radio antenna wire might pullout when you pull the HU out, cause those tend to be short.
