What model are they, the 05? If they are the older ones, they are 300rms apiece. So the jbl would be a great match. are you running the subs sealed, or ported? And if they are d2 ohm, that amp is 1ohm stable. JBL BP 600.1 take a look on ebay and see if you can snag any. Do you have a price range on a new amp?

So they are the newer models then? I'm sure the jbl will push them. Look into the jl 1000/1. I had the 500/1 before, and damn that thing was bad ass. You still haven’t said if it is a sealed box or not. Cuz the jbl will need a subsonic filter, if that box is ported. They are at partsexpress.com F-mods they are called. I think. I was gonna go with a jbl but went with a kicker instead.

It had a filter, but I ended up with a sealed box anyway. Look for a JBL bp 1200.1
Those go for pretty cheap too. You will have to upgrade your alt and wire if yo went that way.

No, get the BOSS XX500.4, 2000 watts right there :)

You will be getting about 250 watts per channel. Take the 550, then divied by two. Look into mtx, they are well built amps. US amps, umm what the hell just click this link man!
