Hi
I need some advice about a sub install.
I wont to use 2x 10inch sub to present a 2ohm load to my mono block amp.
Problem is I need to find out the pros and cons with using 2 different setups.
opt 1 2x punch P1S4-10 svc 250rms wired to give a 2ohm load or.....
opt 2 2x punch P2D2-10 dvc 300rms wired to give a 2ohm load.
Amp will give 700rms to 2 ohm load, Subs in sealed box.
any advice would be much appreciated

Hi,
Welcome to the forum,
You're not going to hear any difference between either setup, basically dual coil speakers were created just to give you some more wiring options.
What amp are you using? If it's really 700RMS, Each sub will be getting about 350RMS, so you might be safer to use the DVCs just because they are 300RMS each. compared to the 250 with the single. But in a sealed box, it's not that as big of deal as if it was ported.
Hope this helps.
