Negative ghost rider.

LPF, low PASS filter.

That means freqs below the x-over will pass through. Freqs above will be cut.

From the Kenwood web site....

Single Pre-out with Low-Pass Filter - A low-pass filter allows the outgoing signal to a connected amplifier to filter out midrange and high frequencies. This is useful for amplifiers powering subwoofers as it keeps damaging mid and high frequencies from being amplified and passed through to a speaker designed to handle only low frequencies.

That deck will work just fine. But you need to check the x-over point on the head unit. Set it to off if you want to use the amps x-over, or around 80hz 24 db if you want to use the decks.

Do what I told you in my last post. You will find the problem.

no fighting guys you are both right yes the Kenwood will work fine with the Y adapter and yes I just went ahead and upgraded that unit to a Pioneer and rewired everything and it sounds AMAZING!! Thank you both. Again there was no right or wrong except me taking a week to figure it out.
